Context:


The IT Procurement Senior Manager's role is to drive the strategic procurement of IT goods and services and Market data services at BDP Group level.

Working in the Vendor Management department, within the COO organization, and closely collaborating with the CIO and other stakeholders, the IT Procurement Senior Manager will lead the definition and execution of procurement strategies that support the Group's overall goals and objectives, maintaining close control over spend.


The IT Procurement Senior Manager will be a key player in negotiating contracts and agreements, managing supplier relationships, and shaping the Group's IT and Market data procurement operating model to ensure operational efficiency.

With a focus on delivering optimal results that balance cost savings, stakeholder collaboration, and compliance with laws & regulations, the IT Procurement Senior Manager will play a vital role in driving the Group's success through effective and strategic procurement practices.


Your Position:


  • Work closely with the CIO to develop and implement procurement strategies for IT goods and services in line with the overall procurement strategy and objectives of the Group.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and agreements, and manage supplier relationships, with a focus on achieving better spend and cost savings.
  • Negotiate or renegotiate favorable terms & conditions, including price, delivery, quality, and other performancerelated aspects, in accordance with the Group's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Work with stakeholders, including IT, Finance, Legal, and business managers to identify requirements, evaluate proposals, and provide recommendations, ensuring that procurement decisions are aligned with the Group's overall objectives and strategies.
  • Monitor and manage the delivery of goods and services, including the resolution of any issues that arise, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain IT procurementrelated framework (policies, procedures, and processes) to ensure the efficient and effective procurement of IT goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Your Profile:


  • A minimum of 10 years' experience working in IT procurement, ideally within the financial sector.
  • Expert knowledge of the procurement process, including demand management, RFI, RFP, proposal analysis, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
  • A strategic perspective on procurement strategy and procedures at a group level.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple demanding stakeholders.
  • A proactive & autonomous demeanor, with a curious / analytical approach and high attention to details.
  • Fluency in English, French, and/or Dutch.
