Our client, a world leader in insurance in the heart of Brussels, is looking for a Manager of Corporate Liability Claims.

As manager of the Dutch-speaking team of corporate liability claims managers, you will be responsible for handling non-complex claims.

You will implement strategies to improve services, liaise with colleagues and work closely with the sales team.

Description

You will be responsible for the Dutch speaking team of claims managers corporate liabilities. This team handles noncomplex claims.
Working together with the two team leaders is an important part of your job. They are responsible for the daily operational followup of the team.
You implement the strategy to improve the quality of service to brokers and customers. This includes both technical quality and employee job satisfaction.
You act as a point of contact for your colleagues from other departments. In addition, you maintain close contact with the sales team, with whom you work to provide brokers and clients with the best possible service.
Since the legal framework, technological resources and expectations of clients, brokers and employees are constantly changing, it is important that you identify these changes and challenges. Based on this, you will make recommendations for your area of focus.

Profile

You have previous experience in corporate liability, this is a must.
Preferably you have a master's degree in an economic or legal field.
You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch.
You have good learning and adaptability.
You have a problemsolving and customeroriented mindset. You are able to understand the requirements of interlocutors and combine customer orientation with industry technicality.
You put a strong emphasis on people management: You are attentive to the needs of employees and you create a good working atmosphere that provides room for development and constructive exchange.
You cope well with change & know how to animate a team and get them involved in a change story.
