In our Shared Services center we are now looking for a Manager Controlling and Accounting BELUX with several years of experience to lead a team of 7 finance experts serving Belgium and Luxembourg.

You will play a key role working closely with the finance teams onsite and in the offshore service center. You report into the Finance Director.

Responsibilities:

Monthly financial closing and reporting process of 2 legal entities
Lead the IFRS reporting towards Headquarters
Deliver annual budget and monthly rolling forecast for the Shared Services, analyze and explain variances
Oversee the preparation and filing of the annual accounts, income tax return and monthly VAT returns
Be the first point of contact for external auditors
Monitor and evaluate finance processes, including cooperation with the offshore centers
Actively participate in various ad hoc (international) projects

Professional Requirements

Bachelor or master's degree in Economics, Business Administration or another relevant field
7+ years of experience in Finance
Working knowledge of finance law and local regulatory standards (GAAP)
Advanced in Excel, experience in SAP is a plus

Professional communication skills in English, Dutch and French
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into relevant and focused management insights
Flexible and proactive, selfinitiator with ability to work with senior stakeholders
Agile, and able to multitask in a complex context and meet deadlines
