  • Onze Specialty Materials Business Group is een globale producent en verdeler van halfafgewerkte (platen, staven, buizen) en afgewerkte producten gemaakt van kunststoffen. Wij zijn de marktleider in het verwerken van deze kunststoffen en composietmaterialen die de eigenschappen van metalen en andere materialen overstijgen. Onze producten worden meestal gebruikt voor industriële toepassingen. We zijn actief in 20 landen en onze site in Tielt is met onze 430 medewerkers een van onze meest cruciale locaties._

Tasks?:


  • As a Business Controller, you oversee, manage and coordinate the controlling aspects of all business lines which are produced in MCAM NV in Tielt (General and Advanced Engineering Shapes, Machined and Injection Molded Parts). Aim is to optimize the use of financial data and resources to support achieving the MCG ES&S growth and profitability objectives. You are a key member of the business teams, providing financial support for business initiatives, investments (capital expenditure requests) and projects. All of this in close cooperation with different stakeholders as finance, sales, supply chain, local, business line and corporate management.
  • You actively participate in business team meetings and business decisions, ensuring monitoring and securing of the business risks, by providing accurate, reliable and timely financial information, analysis and KPI's and discuss financial impacts of business decisions. You are a sparring partner of the Business Line Managers concerning analysis and challenges in financial matters.
  • You prepare the budget planning for the different business lines in close cooperation with the finance team, the business line managers and the management.
  • You are responsible of preparing and performing objective, correct and timely analysis of EMEA consolidated actuals, budgets, forecasts and multiyear plans. You coordinate the underlying requirements and instructions so that management is in a position to make financially sound business decisions.
  • You introduce, maintain and further develop systems and tools for an efficient business as per agreed company standards and share best practice with peers.
  • You test functions and reports and help to improve the data quality of the supplying processes.
  • You support the business and local Finance team in Belgium in accounting and reporting to meet and comply with the Group's standards. You are responsible for correct booking of the monthly valuation of stocks in Belgium (including slobs reviewing and reporting).
  • You perform and review periodic cost runs for all items produced in Belgium including regular updating machine and hourly rates. You review and monitor cost structure changes with the local manufacturing teams.
  • You lead margin management initiatives by identifying and realizing opportunities for profit improvements.
  • You review and validate quarterly updated transfer prices. You actively support new initiatives regarding transfer pricing.

Profile?:


  • Master's degree in Economics or Finance;
  • At least 5 to 8 years relevant experience in controlling & budgeting with increasing responsibility;
  • Sound theoretical and applied knowledge of business controlling and COGS methodology. Knowledge of IFRS accounting and reporting principles;
  • Leadership skills, ability to challenge, motivate and lead teams to improve business results within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects (project planning and prioritization experience);
  • Ability to analyze, organize, summarize and articulate complex financial information;
  • Timepressure and stress resistance;
  • High degree of commitment, flexibility, team and services readiness;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, relationship and negotiation skills in English and Dutch;
  • Ability and experience to work in a fast changing European / global / multicultural environment and matrix type organization;
  • ERP system experience and sound general ICT and Digitalization knowledge / interest;
  • Open for occasional business travels.
