KION Mobile Automation (KMA) is a central business entity of KION Group supporting multiple brands (Linde MH, Dematic, Still) within the group deliver mobile automation solutions.

Within KMA, the Product and Requirements Management (PRM) department handles various responsibilities around global product management and sales enablement.


As a Sales Support Specialist in the PRM department, you will support the product launch and (pre-) sales enablement for various brands of the KION group.

You will report directly to the KMA sales support manager, and work with a team of Sales Support Specialists located around the world.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Core Responsibilities:

The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Independently own sales support projects in alignment with global KMA product portfolio strategy and go-to-market strategies of KION Brands.
  • Work closely with internal customers (KION Brands) to collect information and documentation requirements for product launch and sales enablement.-
  • Develop understanding for technical product information by learning from SMEs to serve as the intermediate person between the technology creators and sellers.
  • Create, optimize, and update product information deliverables in multiple formats for various target audiences from technical product managers to regional salespeople.
  • Build a strong and close relationship with primary focus groups to understand their need for information and drive those needs within these groups.
  • Collaborate with a team of global Sales Support Specialists to create and communicate global information creation and sharing strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, Master's degree is preferred
  • Product management, solution and/or sales related experience in Automation is a distinct bonus 2+ years of working experience is required
  • Fluent in English (additional languages serving as bonus: Chinese, German, Flemish, French)
  • Experience with MS Office Suite or similar tools
  • High ability to think and act entrepreneurially considering risk and opportunity analysis to compile decision proposals
  • Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, such as communication and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel (10%20%)
