Your Role :As Team Leader you will be responsible for a team of 5 employees in the Domestic Planning department. The domestics planners work in shifts and you'll be operationally responsible for the results and successes of the department. Are you the team leader with people skills and familiar with distribution planning we are looking for?

Your Responsibilities:

You'll lead the Domestics Planners. You also ensure efficient staff planning.
Be the first contact point for domestic partners.
Being able to identify gaps and proactively making plans to take the department to a higher level.
Be able to find solutions to serve our customer and subcontractors. Goal is to maintain an accurate planning of every shipment within the agreed lead times.
Staying up to date concerning shipping documents and delivery notes.
You participate in periodic and ad hoc consultations with your colleague team leaders and management.
Monitoring of driver/round trips and intervene where needed to respect the agreement with our customer.
You'll report to the Cross Dock and Warehouse Manager, and you work closely with the inhouse transport department, customer service, import / export and sales.
Build up a good relation with the drivers, charters and partners.
Use the appropriate programs to foresee any delays and search proactively for solutions.

Your Skills and Experiences:

Bachelor degree or similar in experience.
Previous experience in Logistics, preferably in a similar position or environment.
Open to flexible work to ensure continuity if needed.
