Logistics at full potential
Does a WMS system hold no secrets for you and are you the expert in this field? Are you capable of having control of the systems to ensure a high quality in our logistics operations?

What you do on a typical day

Installing and configuring of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems/networks
Training staff
Setting up accounts for new users
Responsible for technical IT interventions + standby
Ticket management: responding/resolving service issues and requests
Maintaining the power BI environment (database knowledge and SQL skills are a plus)
Resolving EDI/interface issues between client and our WMS
Depending on workload this role could in future always be extended to also assist key user with WMS technical issues

What you need to succeed at GXO

Bachelor's degree/HBO in related fields or engineering will be preferable
Min 2 years of experience in the Logistic sector
Excellent knowledge of WMS systems at the configuration level and logístical warehouse processes
Knowledge or experience in Automatic Sorting Systems for orders/purchase preparation is desirable
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, thinks in processes and improvements
Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written
MS Office. Indispensable advanced level of Microsoft Excel and Access
Sorter, Logistics Engineering, Automated Warehouse, Production Planning
Preferably with Advanced level of visual basic
Proactive, motivated and stress resistant
Flexibility, proactiveness and initiative
Clear and direct communication skills, able to translate mechanical and systematic problems to higher management in an understandable way.
