Senior IoT Consultant
We are seeking a Senior IoT Consultant with a profound passion for this rapidly expanding field. The ideal candidate will contribute their talents, skills, and enthusiasm to shape the future of the IoT landscape:
Collaborate with startups, corporations, universities, and governmental agencies to develop projects and platforms, fostering the creation of new IoT data marketplaces and innovation testbeds, thereby reducing existing barriers for sharing IoT data among organizations. Rapidly embrace emerging technological trends, including predictive analytics, business analytics, machine learning, and 5G connectivity, to devise creative solutions to pressing client issues. Work with the engagement team to formulate intricate analytical solutions that address the needs of clients in novel and innovative ways. Align business and technology, translating business requirements into corresponding functional and technical requirements, and describing solutions that incorporate these requirements. Select, use, and tailor methods and tools, integrating them with client equivalents to fulfill engagement or proposal needs. Provide technology advice, apply strategic thinking, define deliverable structures to support engagement objectives, and synthesize ideas and concepts through visual representation. Create or guide the creation of timely and relevant intellectual capital related to the Internet of Things.
Your Background:
Hold a Master's degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, with initial professional experience. Knowledge or experience in emerging IoT systems and corresponding IoT middleware platforms is advantageous. Solid understanding of IoT architecture, from connectivity to aggregation layers. At least four years of professional experience. Effective communicator and team player. Fluent in Dutch or French and English. First programming experience in web scripting/web services (e.g., Python, Ruby, .NET, J2EE). Cloud and/or IoT platform certification (AWS, Azure, PTC, etc.) is a plus. Good understanding of data analytics is advantageous. Past experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, power and utility, energy, infrastructure, and/or smart cities is a nice-to-have. Willingness to join a fast-growing team within our client and contribute to its success.
