About the Role:

Responsible for assembling and installing small bore systems, tubing supports, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Installs pipe for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Install small bore tubing varying in different sizes.
Install containment to support small bore tubing routing.
Carry out hookup installations to the supervisors request.
Being able to carry out tube bending techniques via the use of a hand tube bender.
Use of power tools such as Chop saws, drills etc.
Select tube types, sizes and quantity required for the tube fitting project.
Assemble and secure tubes and fitting by the means of compression.
Mounting instruments, as well as carrying out pressure/Leak tests on installed tubing systems.
Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multidiscipline team.
Raising applicable Permit to Work (PTW) to complete work scope in a controlled and safe manner.
Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the instrument piping work scope is completed safely and to a high standard.
