Senior Data Management Consultant - A refreshingly different Consultancy Firm

Imagine yourself in a role where you will be responsible for understanding, interpreting, or deriving data requirements for development by directly engaging with various stakeholders to understand future enhancements and new functionalities; sound good?

**This is a great opportunity to join our exciting and growing team whilst being immediately based in a client-facing role; responsibilities for this role include: - **- Analyse the existing data management and technological platforms.

  • Collect and prioritise regulatory, technical or ITtechnical data quality and data security requirements.
  • Build management reports of the highest quality or data products that will be used to generate revenues.
  • Build trust in key reports used by senior management or the regulator to steer the company.
  • Build stateoftheart data platforms onpremise or in the cloud.
  • Receive the opportunity to meet different clients and execute projects.
  • Play an instrumental role in fostering communication between data providers and data consumers.

Sound good? These are the skills you will need/develop to be successful:

  • Develop and understand client data strategy, challenges, and translation to project goals.
  • Organise the translation of business requirements into datadriven solutions.
  • Able to transform operating models into new and effective ways of working.
  • Create and implement a clear communication plan to provide transparency in the progress, findings, and results for senior stakeholders.
  • Create and follow up an endtoend delivery plan to reach the project's objective.
  • Coordinate and drive implementation of data management foundations:
  • Data governance: data glossary, lineage.
  • Data technology and tooling: metadata management, data lakes, cloudbased platforms.
  • Data analytics: data science, revenuegenerating data products.
  • Fluency in English is a must, and knowledge of Dutch/French is a plus.

Nice to have:


  • Knowledge of common data management frameworks like DAMA, EDMCouncil and others is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of data governance platforms (Collibra, Informatica) and data analytics platforms (Hadoop, Snowflake) would be great
  • Experience with regulatory data requirements (BCBS 239, KYC, GDPR), data analytics or reporting is considered a plus.
  • You have at least 5 years' experience as a business consultant or in an advisory role.
  • You have a passion for data and its added value for the customer and a strong desire to transform our customer's data culture into a data culture.
