Dark Light is specialized in staffing temporary projects with excellent business intelligence & data experts. We are working with data & insights driven companies, that are looking to scale up their current data teams.

Currently we are urgently looking for a
Data & Analytics Architect for an established company in the region of
Mechelen for a period of
minimum 7 months.


Job description:


  • Implements, maintains and documents the technical components of the data platform
  • Development of the Extract-TransformLoad (ETL) code
  • Followup and maintenance of inhouse ETL flows in production
  • Analysis and research of data
  • Development and dissemination of new insights
  • Reporting and visualisation of data
  • Development of analytical models, using stateoftheart Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques
  • Followup and maintenance of analytical models
  • Ensures the quality and proper functioning of all components within the Data Platform. Monitors this proactively, intervenes in a timely manner and ensures proper communication in the event of incidents
  • Analyses companywide available data, reporting and analytics, and advises the entire organisation on their use
  • Develops inhouse expertise and keeps it uptodate

Profile:


  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • You have experience as technical/solution/data architect
  • You are a strong bridge building
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English, speaking French is a plus
  • You have experience with programming and scripting languages
  • Demonstrable practical experience with data science projects : including developing advanced analytical models, using artificial intelligence or machine learning techniques, ingesting and preprocessing data and/or visualising data
  • Demonstrable experience with big data technologies (such as Azure Data Factory, EventHub, DataLakes, Python/PySpark, Grafana...)
  • Demonstrable experience in translating conceptual information models into logical data models
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar business context (number of users > 5000)
  • Demonstrable experience as a data architect in multiple projects with complex data architecture issues
  • You are a strong communicator, have a "can do" mentality while being pragmatic when needed
