    We are currently seeking a Claims Business Consultant, with a minimum of 5 years of experience and ideally expertise in the insurance industry to join our Claims Operations team.

    In this international role, you will play a crucial role in further developing our claims management capabilities across our teams in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the UK. You will work closely with the teams in these countries, the Claims Operations team and other internal stakeholders to deliver value in different areas such as data analysis and reporting, claims process improvements and project delivery.

    Responsibilities:

  • Identify areas of improvement in our claims operations, and propose a solution either through a small initiative or by creating a business case for a larger project
  • Collaborate and participate within larger projects relevant to our Claims handling, to further modernize our ways of working and use of new technologies. If required, you can take the lead in such projects
  • Maintaining of strong relations with key internal stakeholders such as MS AISE's underwriting and finance teams, understanding their priorities and interests and the interdependencies in end to end processes
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis on our claims data, either based on priorities set by management or other stakeholders or on your self-identified areas of interest
  • Prepare comprehensive claims performance reports with clear conclusions, as well as recommendations and action plans to address any identified issues
  • Monitor and oversee the performance of parts of our claims portfolio that are outsourced to our TPA's
  • Stay updated on relevant industry trends, technological developments, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks in the insurance sector. Build your view on how these topics may impact us now and in the future, and what our response should be

    • Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of and interest in insurance products and processes.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with an attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Experience in project management, if this relates to implementation of new technologies such as AI in operational processes that would be considered a huge plus.
  • Proficient in the use of PowerBI, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with process mapping software like MS Visio is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in at least Dutch and English, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to senior management. French is considered a plus.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
