The Consulting Practice works as one single team to find the best solutions for our clients and can be summed up in different competencies. Our client teams are focused on helping clients improve business performance and operational efficiency while managing risk.

    We help clients by delivering assessment, transformation and process efficiency solutions in specialty areas like finance, supply chain, internal audit & compliance, risk management, people and organizational change, strategic direction, and IT program transformation/IT our Business Transformation competency, we are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Government & Public Sector team in Brussels.

    EY is seeking an experienced Director of Regulatory Compliance to join our Consulting Enterprise Risk division. This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead, drive and grow our corporate Regulatory Compliance service. The selected candidate will play a key role in advising our clients on regulatory compliance matters and developing innovative strategies within the dynamic and rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. Hence, this is the perfect opportunity for an individual with a strong background in Regulatory Compliance and a nose for business development to make a mark in a leading global professional services firm that is committed to building a better working world.

    Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Regulatory Compliance team and develop strategic plans to drive business growth within EY Consulting / Enterprise Risk.
  • Build, manage, and cultivate relationships with clients across various industries to offer regulatory compliance advice and solutions.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments and compliance reviews / audits for our clients.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, to keep abreast and anticipate regulatory and compliance trends and changes, proactively advising clients accordingly.
  • Develop and implement robust regulatory compliance frameworks, policies, processes, and training programs.
  • Mentor, inspire, and manage a high-performance team ensuring exceptional service delivery.

    • Your Profile

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a consulting, financial services, or regulatory body.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic regulatory compliance programs.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks in multiple jurisdictions and industries.
  • Strong business development acumen with a proven track record in developing business in the regulatory compliance space.
  • Skills in leadership, client service, risk management, project management, and team collaboration.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Current knowledge of laws and regulations affecting diverse industries, and ability to anticipate changes that may impact clients.
