The Client is looking for an Application/Cloud Architect Level 7 or 8 to join the in-house development team. The solution assignment may change over time, according to the portfolio/project/service needs.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The following tasks will be performed:

Architecture and design of information systems
Design and development of component architecture and building blocks
Review of systems' architecture and analysis of the integration with different other information systems
Implementation of the technical architecture
Production of software architecture documents and other relevant technical documentation Development of software components
Data analysis, data modelling
Physical database design
Development and maintenance of databasestored procedures
Database configuration and optimisation
Execution of database test programs
Definition and integration of database components
Assistance with the deployment and configuration of the Database
Participation in technical working groups, planning and progress meetings, and meetings with the users
Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

The minimum educational qualification corresponds to Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a
bachelor's degree of 3 years.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above-listed tasks:

In-depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
Good knowledge of business process analysis
Indepth knowledge of software modeling and database modeling tools
Good knowledge of JAVA Programming Language
Good knowledge of Hibernate framework
Good knowledge of Spring Boot
Good knowledge of the Angular framework
Good knowledge of HTML and CSS
Good knowledge of JEE framework
Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture
Good knowledge of Relational DBMS (Oracle), SQL, and PL/SQL
Knowledge of interoperability technologies (e.g. REST/SOAP web services, messageoriented middleware, serviceoriented bus)
Good drafting skills
Ability to participate in multilingual meetings, good communication skills
Ability to give technical presentations
The capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability, and experience in working in team
Experience with AGILE methodologies' principles and practices
Basic knowledge of Justice, Consumers, Migration, or Home Affairs EU policies objectives
Knowledge of Justice and/or Consumer related public IT systems
Professional experience in a legal organization or department will be considered a plus
