    In Brussels, our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering headquarters serve as the starting point for all our latest initiatives, with cutting-edge machinery in our workshops enabling the creation of complex metallic assemblies for aerospace craft and space launchers, along with advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.

    SABCA Brussels is also the base for our "Unmanned Autonomous Systems" or drones solutions unit.

    Mission:

    The role of the Treasurer or Cash Manager involves overseeing the company's cash flow, enhancing liquidity, and supervising daily banking procedures. This position entails maintaining banking connections, assessing financial risks, collaborating with other departments to develop cash flow projections, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, and participation in financial committee meetings and audits.

    Responsibilities:

    • Daily management of cash flow and optimization of company liquidity (supervision of daily banking processes such as payments, collections, and bank reconciliations)
    • Management of relationships with financial institutions
    • Handling short, medium, and long-term cash flow
    • Investment of excess cash funds
    • Analysis of foreign exchange hedging
    • Evaluation of hedging instruments
    • Supervision of financing activities (leasing, loans, etc.)
    • Attendance in financial committee meetings
    • Development and implementation of precise cash flow forecasts in collaboration with various company divisions
    • Assessment of financial risks and formulation of risk mitigation strategies
    • Collaboration with operational units to ensure effective liquidity management
    • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies
    • Management of bank guarantees
    • Monitoring of public funding and subsidies
    • Handling and tracking of expense reports and travel arrangements via Rydoo and Goelett software
    • Participation in monthly and annual financial closings
    • Contribution to year-end and interim audits
    • Comprehensive knowledge of general accounting

    Profile:

    • Proficiency in IT tools (S4HANA, Isabel, etc.)
    • Proactive and critical thinking abilities
    • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
    • Excellent communication capabilities
    • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
    • Resilience to stress and demands of the role
    • Demonstrated accountability and dedication to adhering to the ISO standard within the company

    Education and Experience:

    • University degree or higher in finance, economics, or accounting
    • Substantial professional background in a similar capacity, preferably in an international setting

    Languages:

    Fluency in French and English

    Proficiency in Dutch is an advantage

    Selection Criteria for Internal Candidates:

    Minimum two years of tenure at SABCA.

    AND

    At least one year of service in the current position
