- Daily monitoring of steam boilers, cooling and compressed air installations, water treatment plant, water supply and treatment, etc.
- First of all, you provide the necessary preventive maintenance of the installations, so that any technical problems can be detected in time and the continuous proper functioning of the installation can be assured.
- You can count on the support of colleagues for more complex works or breakdowns.
- In addition, you professionally repair malfunctions on installations so that downtimes can be reduced to a minimum.
- Correct fault analysis and adequate repairs are crucial in this respect. Thanks to your broad technical knowledge of electricity, automation, mechanics (measurement & control technology), etc., you provide the necessary technical assistance to shift managers and operators, so that our machines can be used optimally.
- You follow up any larger problems until they are finally solved.
- Supervising external partners when working within utilities.
- You also proactively keep your eyes open. Proposing actions to prevent problems or improve the process is part of your duties.
- You report directly to the technical utilities manager and are in very close contact with process engineers, shift supervisors, operators and water treatment staff.
- You have a technical education (Bachelor's or A2-level training or equivalent through experience) and, as a result, a keen interest in engineering, preferably electromechanics
- You can look back on several years of relevant work experience as a technician with an industrial technical background. Obviously, experience within a food company is a strong asset.
