- Setting up and monitoring the consolidation structure and organization for the group, within the group guidelines, taking corrective measures when and where needed.
- Deploying, implementing and maintaining a uniform, transparent, accurate, reliable and punctual consolidation system and process for the group, compliant with applicable legislation, group standards and BGAAP. This relates to both the legal consolidation and the management information consolidation process.
- Preparing, interpreting and presenting periodical financial reports and information to management and stakeholders (monthly/quarterly/yearly and on request).
- Producing and publishing the annual report on the consolidated statements (BGAAP).
- Setting up and maintaining consolidation reporting software, templates and the reporting environment.
- Organizing and maintaining the intercompany process.
- Proactively identifying gaps and implementing continuous improvements in the consolidation process, and supporting the standardization of the general finance processes to achieve best practice. In this function you'll report to the Group Consolidation Manager.
- Master 's degree in economics or commercial engineering.
- A first experience in a financial job is an added value, but not necessary.
- Fluent in English (oral and written). Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French .
- Strong knowledge of IT (e.g. Excel).
