Senior UX / UI Designer

Your future job

Lead, inspire and manage the UX/UI team;
Collaborate effectively with the business (Product, CX, Traffic, CRM, Platform,) to develop new concepts;
Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces leading to intuitive user experiences by taking a usercentred design approach;
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Work on digital improvements based on research, analytics and internal instructions. Convert research findings into actionable results;
Present deliverables. Explain, discuss and justify design decisions effectively. Give effective feedback and direction to other team members;
Effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a fastpaced environment.

Who you are
You are creative and passionate about UX and UI.

More than a job, you spend your time learning about new tools, looking for new inspiration and coming up with ground-breaking and innovative suggestions.

You understand work is organised in projects and comes with deadlines which have to be met.

As part of a team, you will need to collaborate with other people and whilst being assertive is a quality, so is active listening.

This balance between being autonomous and being a team player is therefore paramount to us and our business.

You know how to define and prioritize problems, in order to be efficient. You are able to distill simplicity from complex user requirements.

In terms of organisation, you are looking for a company where your implication will matter.

Being just a number is not either what you want and getting lost in an ocean of departments and teams is not motivation enough for you.

You understand the advantages (and also challenges) of a family company with ambition and a ton of projects.

Some of your talents

Around 5 years' experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role
Ability to lead large and complex projects
Knowledge of Adobe XD and Figma (Sketch & Photoshop are a plus)
You have a portfolio of professional UX/UI design work for both web and mobile platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have some experience with user research and/or translating insights from research to designs
Flexible, decisive and focus on customer needs
Knowledge of neuromarketing, modern semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
Fluent in French and/or Dutch and comfortable with Business English
