For a wholesale insurance institution, active on the international corporate insurance market, we are looking for someone with an excellent knowledge of Italian to help their underwriters in their administrative tasks.

Description

  • Collaborate with the Underwriting Department and Customer Service shared between teams for the endtoend processing of new business, renewals and endorsements;
  • Liaise with clients to gather information necessary to prepare quotes (either for new business or renewals) and update pricing when necessary;
  • Prepare reference documentation;
  • Issue proposals, quotes after receiving instructions from the Underwriting Department;
  • Enter information/documents for transaction files;
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of new policy issuance;
  • Support the preparation of slips, policy and endorsement for policy issuance by the Shared Customer Service Department;
  • Support the Underwriting department in the collection and processing of documentation required for reinsurance contracts;
Liaise with brokers/clients to obtain information needed to prepare policy adjustments;

Works in partnership with the Collections Department:
In partnership with the Collections Department, handle financial issues and support their efforts to collect unpaid premiums.

Profile

  • You have obtained a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on Insurance/Economics/Finance or in another field, and you are interested in working in the insurance sector;
  • Experience in the insurance sector is a great asset (which will be valued);
  • You have excellent written and verbal skills in Italian and Dutch. A good knowledge of English is preferable;
  • You are able to prioritize and manage your time well in order to organize your daily work;
  • You are customer oriented in order to anticipate and follow their needs and act proactively;
  • You are solution oriented in order to react to a challenge or a problem;
You are detail-oriented to ensure optimal follow-up for the departments you support;
You have very good administrative and communication skills.

Our client offers you a permanent contract & a complete salary package: A competitive gross monthly salary under joint committee 307, supplemented by meal vouchers of 8 euro/day, eco vouchers, insurances (hospitalisation & group), flexible working hours and, in addition to 20 days' leave, 15 days' recuperation days.
