We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven **PhD Researcher with a passion for entrepreneurship

The job

Conduct research on entrepreneurship in collaboration with faculty and other researchers, incl. desk research, data collection & data analyzation.
Plan and perform research projects, especially regarding performance aspirations of VCbacked companies.
Disseminate findings to an academic and business audience, and to society at large, incl. papers, reports, articles & social media posts.
Provide support for teaching activities within the School.

This is a full-time, 4-year PhD trajectory.

You

Have obtained a master's degree (preferably related to economics) with an aboveaverage academic performance. Your yearly exam results equal 68% (honors) or more, at least twice, of which minimum once in the Masters' degree.
Are passionate about the topic of entrepreneurship and management.
Have good analytical skills and a research mindset.
Want to conduct research relevant to both the academic and the business world.
Have good writing and computing skills and are fluent in English

Dutch.

Have a proactive and customeroriented attitude.
Can choose to be located on our campus in Gent, Brussels, or Leuven, in combination with your home office.
