Service Delivery Manager (SDM) focus on maintaining good relationships with customers and improving the company's services to keep them satisfied, by defining Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and ensuring they are met.

SDMs are responsible to drive operation automation and must target for utilization efficiency of technical and human resources.

On the other hand, it is the task of the SDM to look for new technical and business opportunities to extend the scope of the existing managed services.


A Service Delivery Manager role focuses on keeping customers satisfied with the company's services through managing projects, fixing any reliability issues, tracking service metrics, managing budgets and helping lead the professionals responsible for getting services delivered to customers.

Here is an non-exhaustive list of the recurring tasks expected from the SDM:

  • Operational management of accounts, operational meetings
  • Service level reporting
  • Steering committee meetings
  • Internal reporting
  • Service delivery
  • Continuous service improvement
  • Risk Management
  • Pre sales

Your Profile:


  • You have a Master degree in a relevant field (commercial/civil engineering, computer science, etc.) or equivalent by professional experience
  • You have presales and commercial capabilities, with an ability to do consultative selling, write high quality proposals, and explain offerings to customers
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills
  • You are fluent in French; proficient in English ; in addition for Belgium and the Netherlands, fluent in Dutch
  • You have a customeroriented attitude, drive and sense of commitment
  • You have a conceptual thinking (big picture, vision) and pragmatic approach
  • You are ITILv4 Certified or similar
  • You master Agile or have other project management skills
  • You are assertive in communication and attitude (toward customers, internal teams and management)
  • You are able to adapt communication in function of the audience
