(Senior) Project leader in
Geel , Belgium.

The Geel site is the largest chemical production site for small molecule API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) within the Janssen supply chain.

We ensure lifesaving medicines reach the patient, safely, optimality, competitively, always. Beside production of API's, the site has a launch & grow mission for new pharmaceutical products. To accomplice this mission, we keep investing in new technologies, people and partnerships.

This is an exciting role with a large degree of scope and autonomy.

The role also offers the opportunity for a hybrid working pattern, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities:

Acts as Project Lead on projects at appropriate stages of Ideation, Design, Execution and Assessment.
Establishes alignment with Sponsor, agrees management of Key Partners, and aligns Core and Extended team to deliver the Final Project Objectives
Facilitates the project planning, tracking and reporting against project Key Deliverables and Objectives
Understands the project intake process, scoping, Prepares for Stage Gates, and the development of the selected option for CAR approval
Uses Risk Management methodologies to identify and manage risks to Final Project Objectives in alignment with project stakeholders
Coordinates the design, execution and close out of all projectrelated activities including managing internal project resources and the procurement of thirdparty contractors and suppliers
Manages changes and requests for changes with Sponsor, Core and Extended teams
Manages Project Close Out activities including operational handover archiving, financial project closure, collation of benchmarking information and lessons Learned to ensure continuous improvement
Maintain awareness of external environment, contributing value and insights

Qualifications:

Experience:

Demonstrated success in leading capital projects in a regulated environment

Education, Personality and skills:

You acquired a master's degree, preferably in a technical or life sciences field
An enthusiastic, standout colleague with a "Can do" mentality
High degree of accuracy, structured, flexible and customer oriented
Independent and exploring person.
Flexible, can deal with changing priorities and stress resistant.
An individual who feels that safety and quality is of paramount importance
Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines specific for the pharmaceutical industry
An individual with strong communicative and interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels of our organization
Ability to naturally lead and motivate team members and partners
Certified in project management methodology (e.g. PMP, FPX)
