- Oversee the entire purchasing process for allocated projects, from technical clarification to contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project requirements and establish purchasing plans.
- Execute and follow up on the strategic purchasing process for allocated structural building and asbestos-containing materials (ACM) projects.
- Ensure all ACM procurement meets the highest safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Source high-quality materials for structural improvements, ensuring durability and safety.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers, focusing on achieving optimal terms and mitigating risks.
- Prioritize sustainability and ethical sourcing, contributing significantly to our organization's sustainability goals.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in purchasing within an industrial setting.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
