Your function


Elia Grid International (EGI) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Chief Operating Officer (COO) to reinforce its dynamic team in a context of strong growth perspective.


The COO will be responsible for the overall management of EGI's operations, with a focus on ensuring the company's continued development and success.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing operational strategies that align with EGI's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the company, including project delivery, development of solutions & services and resource allocation.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of EGI's operations and drive improvement.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and consultants.
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement across all aspects of EGI's operations.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of managers and employees to ensure a highperformance culture and continued professional development.
  • Collaborating with other senior leaders to develop and execute EGI's growth strategy, including identifying new business opportunities and expanding into new markets.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing risk and ensuring the safety and security of EGI's people, assets, and reputation.

Your profile

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Substantial experience in a senior management position, preferably in the energy and/or consulting industries.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work in large complex company structure but also in small agile one.
  • Strong track record of leadership in the energy transmission sector or consulting industries, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with experience managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of professionals across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Experience working in a global environment, with a deep understanding of cultural differences and international business practices.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • The COO will report to the CEO and the Board of EGI, providing regular updates on operational performance, strategic initiatives, and other relevant matters.

Location
Brussels - Mobility required: 40% worldwide (willingness to travel abroad for business development or project needs).
