What You'll Do:

Develop and execute sourcing plans for the assigned raw material portfolio, including contract negotiations, managing supplier relations, database management, and market analyses.
Create and maintain solid and reliable sourcing strategies, ensuring competitive advantages for Lubrizol in the long term.
Demonstrate an understanding of supply chain economics to enhance our competitive position in the market.
Stay uptodate with upstream markets, leveraging your insights to bring value and opportunities to the company.
Drive costsavings/avoidance projects in line with regional procurement objectives and implement innovative solutions to improve supplier quality, safety, delivery, pricing, and leadtimes.
Continuously evaluate supplier performance and understand their strengths and weaknesses to influence the market.
Maintain alignment with global and regional procurement projects, priorities, and deliverables to ensure seamless coordination.
Assure security of supply and represent Lubrizol in a professional, legal, and ethical manner, maintaining the integrity and reputation of the brand.
Chair programs to support various reporting requirements such as procurement, finance, accountancy auditing, and compliance.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, supply chain, logistics, finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or other technical field.
At least five years of experience in a similar role, if in the chemical industry even better
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (SAP and BW or Business Objects knowledge or equivalent).

Skills That Make a Difference:

Excellent understanding of negotiation strategy and sourcing/purchasing methods.
Excellent networking skills and the ability to influence others.
Track record of driving continuous improvements in procurement operations.
Experience in maintaining purchasing records in SAP or other electronic forms.
