researcher with a passion for healthcare management.

The job

  • Work on applied and academic research projects in the field of healthcare, especially transmural care in oncology.
  • Build up and use your research skills and expertise, including data gathering, modelling, reorganization, analysis and synthesis. This includes field interviews with healthcare providers and quantitative empirical analysis.
  • Disseminate findings to an academic and business audience, and to society at large, incl. papers, reports, articles & social media posts.
  • Working towards longterm academic project funding, together with your supervisors, potentially opening the track towards PhD research
  • Provide support for teaching activities and teaching innovation, both in executive education and in our MBA/Master courses.

You

  • Are passionate about conducting research with impact.
  • Have obtained a master's in business economics or business engineering.
  • Have a keen interest in the healthcare sector.
  • Have great analytical and project management skills
  • Are fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Can work autonomously but you are also a good team player.
  • Have a proactive attitude and great writing skills.
  • Will work on our campus in Ghent, Brussels or Leuven.
