Service Desk Agent Vacancy in BrusselsJoin our dynamic team in Brussels, Belgium as a Service Desk Agent.
Dive into a role where you'll collaborate closely with top-tier IT teams, providing vital guidance and support regarding bespoke information systems and advanced ICT tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer user guidance and support for inhouse developed information systems and ICT tools.
- Categorize, prioritize, and escalate incoming tickets; reproduce and investigate information system incidents.
- Devise and implement incident solutions, liaise with secondlevel support, and report investigation outcomes.
- Ensure meticulous followup on incidents, user requests, and bug reports, and manage the reporting.
- Document key knowledge, recognize and resolve known issues, and transfer expertise to peers; actively participate in team meetings.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 17 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in ITIL incident and problem management processes related to information systems.
- Minimum 3 years in information system monitoring/support, and proficiency with SMT or ServiceNow tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in enduser assistance and the support of information systems.
- Familiarity with wikis, collaborative platforms, social networks, and MS Office.
Desirable Skills:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with Jira.
Language Requirements:
- Excellent proficiency in the English language.
Working Arrangements:
- The role demands both onsite presence in Brussels and the flexibility to work nearsite within 2 hours from Brussels in EU territory.
Eligibility:
This role specifically requires EU citizenship due to security clearance prerequisites.
