About the role

:


Your Impact as Sr. Business Analyst - Supply Chain

:

-
Partner with the different roles in the Bekaert Supply Chain Planning community to deploy solutions and to ensure full user adoption and realization of the business case

:

-
Have a detailed understanding of the digital business objectives and technology solutions and can translate high-level business vision, ideas and strategic goals into requirements for technology teams

:

-
Steer the product and technical organizations to consolidate business input and
assist business
in the writing of business and platform requirements for medium to large sized projects and projects that span multiple products**:


  • Work with business and OMP
    to obtain input, propose feasible options/solutions to meet requirements and recommend best approach based on priorities (such as development time, usability, maintainability etc.)
:

Own the collaboration process between the business, OMP and other
tech teams to finalize requirements gathering within an agreed timeframe

:

-
Validate the final
business requirements (or initial stories, for agile methodology) for development and/or creative work to begin**:


  • Facilitate scope change discussions and provide recommendations to Project Owners/Product Managers
:

-
Responsible together with the business to draft the UAT plan and during UAT to capture input from users, and provide product team with consolidated change requirements

:

-
Accountable for validating that business requirements are met through the project/product's delivery cycle and helping the solution adoption

:

-
Train the key users together with OMP

:

-
Assist the business (key)users in the sprint testing and the final UAT testing

:

-
Be a key member of the OMP competence centre and drive the continuous improvement process with the business process owners

:

-
Become an OMP expert specific to the Bekaert implemented solution in the areas of demand planning, S&OP and volume planning and detailed scheduling

About You

:


Essential skills & competences

  • Must possess strong communication and leadership skills
  • Supply chain knowledge including understanding of technology and systems, knowledge of industry trends and familiarity with business strategy and goals for supply chain, such as demand planning & forecasting, sales & operations planning, master scheduling, production planning, detailed scheduling, atp/ctp, etc.
  • OMP experience and technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated understanding or experience with configuration or parametrization of a supply chain solution other then OMP such as SAP APO, O9, Kinaxis, etc. (nice to have)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies, experience working in a matrixed technology organization and familiar with projects that span multiple crossfunctional teams (nice to have)
  • Ability to understand business requirements, identify risks and manage tradeoffs
  • Experience in dealing with business requirements: From validating use cases, epics, and user stories with acceptance criteria up to the unit testing and integration testing.
  • Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Can work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to quantify resource requirements and measure and communicate proposed project benefits
  • Experienced in business case development
  • Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes
