You will be responsible for managing the spend portfolio of the assigned BUs within Luminus (+/-120 mio euro/year).

Your main mission consists of defining, implementing, communicating and managing the most appropriate category strategy plan for each of your categories in order to:

- _ To ensure that Luminus uses the best possible suppliers and solutions in the most optimal way to create value and drive performance._
- _ Contribute to the company's EBITDA through the results achieved (savings, value creation,...) _
- _Create and promote cost-consciousness within Luminus_

Responsibilities:

You are the first point of contact for the internal client. You act as account manager for the BUs involved. You participate in the various management committees where you discuss both the status and the pipeline of the various procurement tracks.
You will prepare an annual strategic procurement plan, in collaboration with the Procurement Manager, for the BUs within your responsibility.
Work with your internal customers to define and communicate the most appropriate category strategy plan for each of the assigned categories
You are responsible for executing, implementing and managing the sourcing process (RFx), in line with the defined strategy of the relevant category, with the aim of optimising TCO and creating value for your internal customers
If applicable, you will organise and lead tender committees and participate in the steerco's of the various projects to discuss procurement activities.
Your excellent knowledge of sourcing in general, and the renewable energy market in particular, enables you to understand the needs of your internal customers and assist them appropriately
You advise and guide your internal customers in defining and formulating their needs in order to translate them into specifications
You select suppliers, negotiate the offers, and award the contracts, within the lines of the internal policy and the predefined category strategy
You will assist internal customers in contract management and followup of existing contracts
You evaluate existing suppliers, in consultation with the internal customers;
Market research: you track trends and movements within the industry and supplier landscape
You coach and manage employees to achieve the predefined results
You contribute to the design, development and followup of transversal procurement initiatives (e.g. sustainable procurement, supplier relationship management,...)

Background

Master's degree
Trilingual NL/FR/EN
Project management and methodology
7+ years in ( project) procurement
Experience in renewable energy procurement is a plus
Strong experience in sourcing and cost analysis
You have the necessary people management experience or possess the necessary soft skills to further develop your management skills
