NeuVasQ Biotechnologies, a spin-off from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), is developing pharmaceuticals to sustain or restore neurovascular function, a novel mechanism to interfere with disease progression for the benefit of millions of patients affected by neurological disorders.

Position

To help drive the development of the neurovascular/BBB-focused product pipeline, NeuVasQ is looking for a
Manager - New Product Planning.

The person in this role will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other executives and senior leaders.

The position is based in the Brussels South Charleroi Biopark, Belgium.

Key responsibilities among others include:

Ensures that key business decisions are supported by strategic analyses and inputs with respect to the positioning and earlystage development of Neuvasq's products in Neurology
Develops commercial assessments for earlystage products, including analysis of unmet needs, competitive dynamics, demand forecasts, NPVs.
Delivers wellexecuted primary market research initiatives and relevant market data; create and update supporting strategic documents accordingly
Manage secondary data analyses utilizing various syndicated studies, the Internet, and other sources such as epidemiology/patient data.
Work closely with research and development teams to deliver and update product development plans consistent with commercial and market insights
Identifies partnerships and other opportunities to expand and/or leverage Neuvasq's scientific platform.
Prepares presentations for internal (Board, townhalls,) and external (Partners, investors, conferences,) use.
Ensures the availability of legal and IP support for the company, through external advisors and facilitates on a daily basis between internal needs and providers.

Profile

Skills & Expertise

Broad interest in the overall functioning of a biotech company
Broad understanding of drug development, especially regarding medical unmet need considerations, commercial parameters, and opportunities to demonstrate product differentiation and value creation
Demonstrated capabilities with respect to market research and analytics, strategic planning, financial forecasting/modeling, and/or business development
Experience operating in an environment driven by scientific innovation
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

Minimum Qualifications:

A Management/Business degree.
A Medical or advanced degree in a scientific discipline would be helpful.
3+ years of relevant industrial experience in research or development (biotech or pharma)
