Coaching Exercise: Chapter Make It Happen.

A little girl once asked her mother if she could have a doll. She had seen it while window shopping with her mother in the big city. When she saw the doll, she immediately fell in love with it. It was the most beautiful doll. The little girl could not help staring at it the whole time. Even when her mother gently motivated her to follow her to the next shop. Her head always turned back to the window where the doll was presented to the audience in the most loving way. The little girl never forgot the doll. A week later the little girl wondered if they could return to the big city and to the doll. She looked at her mother in the most sweet way - as only little girls can - and whispered: "Mummy, can I have the doll please, I miss it so much".

The mother could not help but smile. Her daughter was a wonderful being in every way. As good mothers do, she reflected on the question of the daughter. The truth was that her daughter had received many presents already. If she would get the doll just like that, she would not truly appreciate it. That is why the mother decided to change her approach. She told her daughter: "Sweetheart, you had a lot of presents already. I understand that you want the doll now. Write a letter to Santa Claus and maybe he will make it happen for you in December".  The daughter listened well to the words of her mother. She was very silent to absorb every wisdom well. The daughter went to her room and remained there for a while. The mother continued her work in the kitchen.

The night was falling. The stars were shining brightly. The magic of the universe awoke. The little girl counted the stars. Suddenly one star was moving. The little girl was brave and just watched the event. The star came nearer and nearer. Then it knocked on her window and made a gentle gesture to enter the room. The little girl opened the window and the star was spreading a golden light. A very beautiful scene. The star danced and smiled. The little girl danced with the star and together they had so much fun. "How are you?", said the star. The girl answered: "I am fine, thank you, star." The star observed the little girl and saw some sadness in the corner of her left eye. With pure tenderness the star shared the following words: "Tell me, sweet little girl, do you have a wish deep within your heart that has not manifested itself yet?"

The little girl instantly remembered the doll that she desired mostly. The star saw the reflection of the doll in the innocent eyes of the little girl. Like a movie the wish was projected on a screen. Only golden stars possess this special quality to read deeply the eyes of little children. The star noticed that the doll was missing the little girl too. It had felt the deep love that the little girl expressed, when they met for the very first time. Dolls feel emotions too. Not as much as little girls, but to some extent as well. The star also discovered a tear in the left eye of the doll, exactly in the same location where the little girl stored her sadness. The star decided to apply some magic. During the night all stars have to practice. "Close your eyes", the star said. The little girl did what was told by the star.

The next moment the little girl was in the shop and could talk to the doll. They hugged. What a joyful moment. They played for hours and hours and laughed. The star was happy to watch it all and let them play together. By the first morning light the star had to return to her home. The star pressed the magic button and thirty three seconds later the little girl was back in her bed. In the morning when the girl woke up, she had a special feeling. She had had such a wonderful dream. When her mother saw her, she could see that her little girl was smiling broadly. The mother asked: "What has happened to you, little darling?" The little girl decided to keep it a secret. She only replied: "I am happy about all the good things coming my way". The mother gave her daughter a deep hug, she loved her sweetheart so.

The star had left a small present in the bedroom of the little girl. It was a roadmap and it explained in the finest details how the little girl could repeat the experience of meeting with the doll in the shop. Each day until Christmas, where she would get the doll from Santa Claus. The girl learned from the star that love and faith can make it happen. The roadmap was full of sweet little actions that the girl could undertake. She loved every step of it. It was a lesson for a lifetime. Since that moment every desire that the little girl had, was transformed into action steps. By magic of the golden star. The little girl was determined as never before to make all her dreams come true. She understood that all is possible in life. When you really want something and it is good for your well-being and does not harm others, the universe will support you to manifest it. Always. Forever.

Too kind, Liesbeth. Now can I have a tax receipt with that, assuming you are a registered charity, of course? 😂

Nice story with a great message Liesbeth Leysen! I wouldn't mind one of those stars either, using it all for good :)) I guess I will have to keep breathing in the positive energy of the universe!

Beautiful story, Liesbeth Leysen, beautifully told. Now where can I get one of those stars with a thirty three second button to beam me back to bed? Can't begin to tell you the countless number of tricky situations this could get me out of. 😟
