Collect Experiences Not Things
The world as we know it and the world as it is, might be two opposite realities. We might live the life of our dreams or someone else decides how we need to live our lives. Of course there are many combinations in between. But it all starts with how we look at things. Some of us want to gather things and are proud to 'have' something, others have become more content with 'being' and love to experience moments. At the end of our lives we will have one more precious chance to look back at how we spent most of our journeys and what legacy we left in the hearts of the people we touched.
It might be a good idea to spend time in nature with people that still have access to ancient wisdom. Today, a lot of people have lost their way and returning to the simple life might create the miracles that they are looking for. Life is certainly not meant to be complicated or hard. Life is not supposed to be and endless path of struggling and surviving. Life is a treasure and presents itself as such for the ones that are willing to see it. Humans do not need so much in terms of material things, however, love and care can move mountains.
Therefore, each time when life offers us a choice, let us choose collecting experiences over gathering things. Our soul needs to be nurtured by inspiring and positive forces. Nature does it for free. Ancient wisdom can repair a lot of damage. When we make a list of what we wish for Christmas, we might whisper that we could spend some time in nature among old and wise souls and remember what life really is all about. There is a lot of nonsense around us and we need to see clearly the essence. Once we get there, we will feel soul much better.
What will you do to live the spirit of Christmas this year? How will you bring more loving light to the world?
