Never Say Never

Never Say Never

He woke up in an old house. In an environment he did not know. He was so surprised that he could not decide if he should be fearful or surrender to the adventure. His muscles felt as if he had worked all day without taking a break. He was thirsty. Hungry too. The room was dark. Searching for a candle or some light. A sunbeam. The window called him. He moved. The curtain was full of dust. A spider web too. The grey spider was too old to worry about changing circumstances. He did not bother that his art was destroyed. He trusted that he could make a new one along the way. He forgave the man. As simple as that. The spider prayed for better times to come. The window was unlocked. The sunbeams were happy to enter the space. A forest not too far away. Green colors all around the house.

He had no clue where he was. His logical mind could not help him. He had to find another way out. Something special about this place. This must be the kitchen. He saw an old cauldron. Simple shape. Golden and shining. Filled with water. Proof that someone was here recently? He touched the cauldron. He wanted to drink some water. The cauldron was warm. A sudden shivering inside his hand. The room was full of light now. A golden perspective. Out of the blue. He was overwhelmed. His mouth fell open. He could not believe his eyes. Was he dreaming? Or was he really living this experience? He saw a woman dressed in a golden gown. She looked at him intensily. He felt scanned inside and outside. Strange impact. He could only observe the event, no possibility to add some value.

"What are you afraid of?", were her words. She spoke softly. Could she read his mind? He wanted to carry his mask further. He was used to presenting himself as a strong man. She did not allow it. She repeated her intense words. In a way that he knew he had to dig deep to let his feelings come alive. Burried far away. He did not want to feel the pain, the loss, how he felt so alone all this time. "I lost my love long ago", he replied without hesitation now. She already found out. She saw it in his soul. A dark page. Written in capital letters. "You have to turn the page", she said. "It is time for you to let go. Everything you experience in life is a preparation for something truly special", she added. "The love that you saw, was just a reflection of your inner state, you were not ready yet for the deepest love. It was not love, it was ego. When the student is ready, the master appears", she whispered gently.

He reflected on her words. Deeply. He felt how his feelings all came to the surface. Waves of emotions, cleaned in an instant. He almost drowned. They were all leaving his body. Making room for true emotions. The most touching ones. All obstacles, worries and anxieties turned into butterflies, ready to be free. He felt lighter and lighter. She continued the healing and cleaning process. He said nothing. Could only watch the scene. He trusted her. She knew what she was doing. The cauldron made a sound. The water was vaporizing. All colors passed as clouds through the kitchen. Red, blue, yellow, violet, indigo, green and orange. A show so beautiful. His eyes observed bravely. Endless. Like an ocean. Then the cauldron became quiet. She was gone. Suddenly. The kitchen turned around. He felt dizzy. He fell in a deep sleep. Perfect ending of a chapter. He needed to recover. He slept days and days. When he finally woke up, he felt refreshed. His new energy filled him with confidence and love. He saw a message from a new love. It said: "Do not worry, we are in this together. Never say never. Love is always around". His smile enlightened the earth.
