The Elf That Learned How To Read People

There was an elf in a dark hole in the universe. There might be more elves and more dark holes but anyhow this story is about the elf pictured below. Not just any elf. The elf is pictured with a book. You could think now that the elf is smart. He is not, in fact he is super smart. He learned secretly how to read the minds and hearts of people.

He is still learning. He never thinks that he knows it all. His brothers and sisters do other things but he loves to get smarter every day. At first he felt a bit lonely. But now he embraces his own art, because he has become so unique and special that he wants to continue on his chosen path. The universe rewards him, each time he finishes a book of wisdom, he gets a new one, on a higher level.

In the dark holes of the universe there is some light too. It works with enlightened thoughts. Each time the elf thinks an uplifting thought or transforms something painful into something joyful - this is valid for others too when he gets involved - there is a spark, a light that is created. So our elf is mastering the art of creating light.

Yesterday our smart elf got a new assignment. The wind blow a piece of paper in his direction. He understood the elements but he had to learn how to solve this puzzle. So with the new challenge came a new book. Our elf is now reading the guidelines. The series of sparks are waiting for him to get called into action.

A bold spark fell down. A bit in a teasing state. Our smart elf put his book aside and had a conversation with the tiny little thing. The spark was cute. It spoke in a very elegant pattern. “Can I keep you company?”, said the spark. The elf smiled and told the spark that it could stay. He would give him what he needed to transform into an adult version. Just like we are keeping pets. 

The spark was happy to get adopted by the elf and together they learned about the new book. Every day the spark got bigger and the elf gave him lots of loving care. The pet was becoming more present. The elf fell asleep. Spark was still awake. Since Spark learned together with elf, Spark could do some tricks too.

Spark wanted to surprise elf. A human being came to the dream in the dream scene created by spark. The elf had his eyes closed. The human being had a gift for elf. A human suit. Whenever elf wanted, he could get dressed up as a human being and talk to complete strangers in the universe of humans.

Elf was wearing his suit. As in the dream, Spark followed his master. A man was sitting alone on a bench in the park. Elf sat down next to him. Elf asked the man how he was doing. The man was surprised, since he was made invisible by the people in the street. Nobody talked to him. And now this? He must need something from him, this stranger. So the man said in a rude tone: “What do you want from me?”

The elf could read his mind and noticed how he was full of pain and sadness. The elf responded that he was there with no other intention than to listen to him. So the man told his life story, the elf listened well. By having someone next to him that did not judge him, the man calmed down. He felt that maybe there was a chance that he was not so worthless after all. Since someone took the time to listen to him.

The spark watched the conversation. Suddenly the sun appeared. The old man saw the world around him. It had changed completely. People were friendly and greeted him. The old man changed the way he looked at himself and that seemed to be the little spark to set his world on fire. In the best way. 

Spark smiled and got promoted. It became a star. And elf? Elf had finished his latest book. The universe rewarded elf with new wisdom but for now elf is back in the dark hole. He is resting and reading from time to time. A whole bunch of sparks are impatiently waiting to spend some time with elf. Each spark can book a spot. The elf has access to forever time, a special kind of time that expands when you need it.

The family of sparks can keep the faith … for each one of them there will be an assignment and they will all get promoted. Elf will make room for them. With time comes wisdom. The books of the universe are written in such a way that there will always be a next chapter. If only we are willing to open our eyes for the unimaginable … we will have access to many more gifts in life …
