- Defining and evaluating technical options to achieve business objectives, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance;
- Preparing expert reviews, dossiers, and risk assessments to support new product launches and provide ongoing support for products in the market;
- Developing new work processes that support safety and regulatory decision-making and implementing these processes across the organization;
- provide flawless regulatory support based on legislatively informed, scientifically sound, and principle-based decisions. Your responsibilities will encompass regulatory monitoring, compliance, and influencing work related to F&HC products.
- Hold a Ph.D. or Master's degree in (eco)toxicology, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials sciences, or life sciences;
- Can translate scientific principles into practical applications (applied science) through project work, particularly in the areas of safety and risk assessments;
- Are highly motivated, capable of making principle-based decisions and holding your ground in a cross functional team of peers and senior managers;
- Have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills;
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills in English and can accurately communicate safety and regulatory positions in business-relevant terms;
- Exhibit leadership abilities, including the capacity to work independently, execute with excellence, and delegate tasks appropriately;
- Ideally, you have experience in Global product stewardship or related fields through various assignments providing regulatory and/or safety support;
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python (or C#) and SQL would be a plus.

Within our GPS organization, you will be part of a team of managers responsible for designing and implementing safety and regulatory solutions for our Fabric and Home Care products. You will collaborate internally with GPS regulatory and safety experts and externally as required to deliver comprehensive GPS support to the business. Additionally, you will assist in managing technical issues by leveraging internal and external resources effectively.
