    At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a User Experience (UX) Strategist to join our UniQue team in Brussels

    What will you be bringing to the team?

    Support the UX improvement of European Institution products/solutions.


    • Use various UX practices and work closely with business and cross functional teams to reach desired organizational goals.


    • Examine existing software products and identify usability issues.


    • Plan and execute tests to assess the usability of a product in development.


    • Analyse the findings and provide actionable recommendations in co-ordination with UX/UI designer.


    • Assist research groups (recruitment related activities, data entry, note-taking, technical setup) to

    ensure that project work is delivered on time and meets our demands for high quality.

    Support the creation of a UX toolkit (templates, guides, etc)


    • Contribute to the creation of a complete set of materials and resources


    • Co-create and standardise with the support of other team members and the Community of practice

    templates, guides, workflows and processes


    • Co-create UX Guides for UX professionals & non-UX professionals


    • Contribute to the creation of a Portfolio of Use Cases and Best practices from European Institution

    3. Participate actively in the UX Office's Community of Practice


    • Exchange and co-create knowledge and material for UX Toolkit


    • Contribute to building synergies across the European Institution


    • Communicate UX Office service offering


    • Contribute to the dissemination of best practices, share experiences and lessons learnt

    4. Provide advice to European Institution units on:


    • How to approach a UX related business problem


    • How to initiate and organize a UX activity


    • How to build a team (upskilling, missions & engagement with UX Office, outsourcing etc.)


    • How to best use the UX office offering (services, toolkit etc.)


    • Liaise European Institution with relevant UX initiatives

    Requirements

    What do you need to succeed in this position?


    • Experience as a UX consultant, UX researcher, Digital communicator or UX Trainee


    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


    • Rapid self-starting capability.


    • Leading Research projects


    • A portfolio that shows the ability to work across various products


    • Knowledge of prototyping, wireframing


    • Excellent communicator in English, able to communicate the organisations' strategic vision and goals from an end-user' point of view


    • Excellent presentation skills


    • Design thinking methods or/and systems' thinking.


    • Synthesize UX research, web analytics data, as well as surveys, legacy and organizational goals.


    • Work closely with business and cross functional teams to reach desired organizational goals.

    i) Usability and user testing

    ix) Contextual Inquiry

    x) Iterative prototyping

    xi) Participatory design (design sprints)

    • Remote Collaboration (Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, Miro)
