- Je werkt mee aan de uitbouw van het Third Pillar Research Center (TPRC) van Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen;
- Je werkt de lopende onderzoekslijnen uit en ontwikkelt zelf nieuwe onderzoekslijnen, waarvan je de inzichten combineert in een PhD, steeds met een focus op empirisch onderzoek naar de derde pijler;
- Je volgt de literatuur nauwgezet op en verzamelt zelf data om literatuurstudies en databases op te bouwen;
- Je onderhoudt contacten met experts binnen en buiten de organisatie;
- Je neemt deel aan conferenties en opleidingen om jouw eigen expertise uit te bouwen en deelt inzichten uit jouw onderzoek en publiceert populariserende teksten met als doel het centrum op de kaart te zetten;
- Je vertegenwoordigt TPRC binnen en buiten de organisatie en je werkt mee aan het bekend maken van het centrum, zijn werkzaamheden en resultaten;
- Je rapporteert aan de Algemeen Secretaris, en overlegt maandelijks met de Gedelegeerd Bestuurder. Jouw dagelijkse begeleider is de huidige TPRC onderzoeker.
- Je beschikt over een masterdiploma met de nodige statistische achtergrond (vb. economie, ingenieur, statistiek);
- Idealiter sluit deze job onmiddellijk aan op jouw onderzoek als masterstudent;
- Een sterk analytische geest uit zich in een grondige informatieverwerking, ook de interpretatie van statistische analyses is je bijgevolg niet vreemd. Praktische kennis en ervaring met statistische software is wenselijk, alsook de bereidheid om deze kennis en ervaring blijvend aan te scherpen;
- Je bent communicatief sterk (zowel mondeling als schriftelijk), met een gevorderde kennis van het Engels;
- Je kan projectmatig werken en weet zelfstandigheid en teamwork te combineren;
- Nauwkeurigheid en orde in je werk zijn je tweede natuur. Je bent dan ook sterk in planning en organisatie;
- Je bent contactvaardig en in staat om constructieve interne en externe contacten uit te bouwen en te onderhouden.
