The
GL Accountant is responsible for managing the overall accounting operations in one or more branches/legal entities, handling a wide range of tax, accounting, and treasury tasks, including serving as the fiscal representative.

Main Responsibilities:

Adhere to global accounting standards and policies
Ensure proper usage of GL accounts and cost centers
Reconcile accounting system with operational systems
Complete monthly closing within set deadlines
Ensure compliance with external reporting
Manage T&E expense declaration process
Handle all taxrelated matters (transfer pricing, prepayments, deferred taxes, filings, etc.)
Support statutory and internal audits
Plan and manage cash
Prepare monthly cash pooling overview within set deadlines
Ensure accurate posting of all transactions

Who are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2 years of relevant experience
MS office, Microsoft Dynamics or any other ERP package
Good verbal and written proficiency in Dutch and English. French and any other language is a plus.
Experience in project management
Basic knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics
VAT & Income Tax knowledge
