    Job description

    Reporting to and working closely with ACEA's Head of Public Affairs, the Public Affairs Manager will focus on the following:

  • Cooperating with ACEA's policy teams to monitor regulatory developments and analyse their impact on the auto industry
  • Leading advocacy campaigns and projects under the supervision of the Head of Public Affairs
  • Engaging with European Commission, Parliament, and Council decision makers
  • Liaising with ACEA members and managing internal working groups
  • Drafting and revising advocacy tools such as position papers and political analyses
  • Contributing to other public affairs activities as requested by the Head of Public Affairs

    • Profile

  • A university degree (preferably Master's level) in law, political science, or economics; EU-related study in these fields is an advantage
  • Between three to five years of relevant work experience in European public affairs
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of other European languages is an asset
  • Excellent understanding of the EU decision-making process
  • Knowledge of EU environmental and/or transport policies
  • Outgoing, self-motivated, good diplomatic skills, and a quick learner
  • Capacity to connect with people and build networks
