    The purpose of the Center of Expertise Communication, Brand and MarCom is to help ING Belgium win the trust and admiration of all our key stakeholders and be the most appealing banking partner for those who want to make a difference for people and planet.

    The team

    Driven by a multidisciplinary team of enthusiastic and seasoned internal, external and event colleagues, the Communication team generates trust and belief in ING Belgium's strategic direction. This by sharing the proven impact we make for our customer, our colleagues and society at large.

    Roles and responsibilities

    - As Corporate Event coordinator/specialist within the Communications Team, you will be a key partner and advisor in the planning, organisation and coordination of all our internal employee events, both digital and physical, brand activations and employee-experience related events.

    - As a multichannel event master, you will ensure a flawless execution of our employee experiences and events and think end-to-end to the entire employee experience of an event.

    - With your creativity and touch of tech, you give each event a unique feeling– closely linked to our Brand identity - so that it "sticks" in the memories of all participants.

    - You will work closely with the communications experts and other Sponsoring & Events experts in the different business lines and ensure consistency and alignment.

    - This position works directly with multiple internal teams and reports to the head of the Communications Team.

    - You will contribute to:

    • Organising the various 'all staff and 'leadership' events, end-to-end. This means that you are responsible for internal briefings, coordination and alignment with internal stakeholders, alignment with external partners, logistics, creative translation, budget management, debriefing after an event, etc.

    • Creating superior leadership and employee experiences to make them feel connected, and purposeful in order to drive organisational performance.

    • Building trustful relationship with our internal stakeholders

    • Improving the digital and audiovisual capabilities of the team and the deliverables

    • Coaching and guiding business colleagues at large in the organisation of their events.

      We are looking for a highly motivated, extremely organised, self-directed team player.

      You are a versatile communications professional with a passion for thinking and doing and have earned your stripes in the profession. You have a clear vision of how internal events can contribution to the overall bank-wide communication's strategy. You are seen by others as a true expert and appreciated for your clear communication advice and drive.

      With your creativity and analytical mind, you contribute to the improvement of ING Belgium's employee engagement and employee's experience.

      You are an example of the ING culture (Orange Code) and recognize yourself in the corresponding behavioural profile.

      • Bachelors and/or master's degree preferably in Event management or Communications

      • Minimum 5 years of experience in the area of event management, project management, corporate, internal, employee experience and employee engagement are highly regarded.

      • Experience building and executing event strategies in complex organisations

      • Perfect planning and organisational skills

      • Excellent command of French, Dutch and English

      • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

      • Knowledge of tech, audiovisual and digital communication tools

      • Ability to take ownership and responsibility

      • Takes initiative and eager to deliver

      • Ability to work in stressful conditions

      • Highly organized person and have "hands-on" attitude,

      • Team player and collaborative

      • Data-driven

      • Branding, graphic design and audiovisual expertise is a plus
