To embody their kicking international growth ambitions we are currently recruiting an Export Sales Manager.


Job description:


You will define; implement and manage the export sales strategy for GIMBERS' expansion markets (DACH - South Europe - Nordics - APAC), securing topline growth with a bottom line target.

Together with your team you will identify, unlock and develop the high potential markets securing GIMBERS' further growth ambitions.

  • You develop a strong tangible expansion plan with clear building blocks and timelines.
  • You define and initiate "GIMBERS' Route To Market Playbook" for the dedicated geographical regions. Where necessary you will set up test markets, ensuring regional RTM best practices per focus country e.g. launching local teams, commercial distributor partnerships, supply agreements,
  • You assure regular business reviews and reporting are in place, defining clear actions based on the regional market analysis, tendencies and results.
  • You will develop and integrate the commercial export policy providing support towards your partners in terms of pricing, terms & conditions, marketing support,
  • You will nurture your team with validated input, maximizing output and profitability.
  • You are a "companion de route" for your team, leading by example.
  • You report to the Sales Director and directly manage 2 International Business Development Managers.

Profile:


  • You have a Master's degree combined with min.10 years of commercial experience of which at least 5 years within an international Export Manager or Distribution Management role. Experience within Food and/or FMCG is mandatory.
  • You gained an extensive experience in building international brands within new regional markets.
  • Your experience is built on strong Route to Market principles and best practices, with a solid experience in managing and developing commercial distributor partnerships.
  • You have a resultoriented, pragmatic and hunting mindset and get lots of energy from creating new opportunities from scratch.
  • You possess good communication skills and are aware of the importance of good stakeholder management; both in
- and external.

  • You keep abreast on market insights and tendencies, development opportunities,that can contribute and/or impact your expansion strategy.
  • You gained strong people management skills combined with a problem solving and "can do"approach.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory. Additional language skills such as German or French are an asset.
  • You will be working out of the HQ in Brussels
  • Tubize days/week) combined with home office and regular business travel (up to 30%).
