Foxy Roxy

Foxy Roxy looked at the snowflakes. Tasty. They were all different but good enough to keep him hydrated. It was cold and grey outside. Luckily he had a warm winter coat. No living human soul was bold enough to walk outside. Foxy Roxy walked in the streets. Hunting for a meal. If only someone would have left some food outside, he grumbled. 

The streets were empty. No children to play with. He saw a small rabbit but then again, he let it go. Tonight he wanted to eat a steak. So he got the idea to stay close to restaurants. A waiter came outside and put the trash in the trash can. Maybe this would work. As soon as the man was gone, Foxy Roxy tried to get a deal.

He put one of his legs on the trash can. The trash can lost its balance. The scent of meat entered his nose. He felt happy. Foxy Roxy did already a happy dance. With eyes wide open he searched for the best recipe. Not this, not that. He went on for a while, until he saw a present wrapped in red and green colors.

Foxy Roxy forgot how hungry he was and decided to do some further investigation on the present. With his sharp teeth he opened the present, a golden ticket appeared. He wondered if he could eat the ticket. He chewed on it. Not the best idea. Luckily Foxy Roxy could read. He saw an address and guess what. It was the address of a fancy five star restaurant in town.

He had a plan. He would go and visit them and his golden ticket would make it happen. The waiters were surprised. They accepted the golden ticket but never had a fox before in their restaurant. Foxy Roxy played the role of a member of the royal family and he said that he was disguised otherwise the people would not let him in peace.

The waiters gave him the best of everything and slowly but surely his belly got really full. Foxy Roxy was having the time of his life. Suddenly a female fox appeared. Foxy Roxy was in awe. If only she would sit with him at the table, he would feel so lucky. Well, she did. She felt comfortable around him. 

They had a beautiful night together and took a coffee under the stars. He warmed her up with his warm winter jacket. Foxy Roxy fell asleep. The next morning he was covered in snow. Foxy Roxy remembered his dream. He won a golden ticket. He was eating the best meals in five star restaurants and had met the foxy lady of his dreams.

His belly screamed for food. Father Christmas smiled. He noticed how Foxy Roxy was struggling in the cold streets. With the touch of a magic pencil Foxy Roxy was living his dream. His foxy lady suddenly became real. Some stories end with a happily ever after, this one said at the end: “happily ever present”. Meaning he was in a happy place at present and the present lasted a life time.

Foxy Roxy danced with foxy lady. When you open your eyes, you can see them dance in the snowflakes on a cold winter night in a town in Finland. Their shadows are reflected against the walls of the houses. For privacy concerns we cannot mention the exact location, but believe me, with some magic your heart can get access to this location. Just close your eyes … and imagine being there already …
