Summer Reflections - The Power of Being Unconditional
A long hot summer has started. The sun shows more and more warmth. Each day. For free. Suddenly everything looks brighter. Room and space to do all those things that we wanted to do a long time ago. Wonderful opportunities to meet up with friends. Talking about the beautiful things in life. Life is good and perfect in its imperfection. People find time to say a simple thing as 'hello'. Sunny reflections are part of our daily lives. Children play in the street. So much joy.
Among the crowd a man walks with an open heart … He says something nice about a dog and asks gently if he can pet the dog. The owner puts a smile on his face and feels special and accepted. It feels good to be noticed and recognised for just being. The dog lover kneels down and covers the dog with unconditional love. The girlfriend of the dog owner is amazed. The dog decided in her case when she could come closer. Now the dog seemed to be instantly open for love.
Touching someone deeply does not always have to be a huge act of heroism. Sometimes all it takes, is to offer some unconditional love. A simple hello can create an openness between two living beings. When we touch a stranger with love, we see him of her blooming. In those special moments we practice the art of human connection. Feeling loved is the best feeling in the world. When we can freely give that feeling to others, we become practioners of the most beautiful power.
Love is a mystery but it is no longer a secret that a human who gives love to others without the need to have something in return, will always leave deep traces in the heart of another living being. Among the crowd a man walks with an open heart ... The dog recognises his positive vibes and starts to wag its tail. With an incredible enthusiasm. The owner and the dog smile. The man with the open heart downloads more warmth of the sun. More than enough love. Let the summer never end.
How will you touch the heart of a stranger today?
