Sundance

Her name was Sundance. By coincidence. Call it fate. A child of the moon and the stars. She loved to move her body. Especially at sunrise. When everybody was still sleeping. She was awake. Surely. Most naturally. It started when she was a sweet little baby and it never ended. She danced through life with an ease that was remarkable. Nobody could dance like her. She was a delight to watch. Even the flowers stopped stretching for a while when they noticed her morning rituals. With petals wide open they starred at her art of being.

An old man came to her village. He heard about her story. He wanted to know more about it. Since she seemed to get in touch with the smooth side of life, he was willing to learn more about her and her spirit. His grey hair revealed that his life had not been a fairytale. On the contrary. Lots of drama and sadness crossed his life path. What can you do? He suffered and survived. His experiences were lonesome. Most of the time he could cry. He got lost in his victimhood. But one day he woke up with a goal in his mind. In search for a happier life. 

He came with no expectations. Afraid to get hurt. From a distance he observed the people of the village. Noted down their habits. Sundance was watched with more hope. Her house was marked on a map. Every morning when the sun came out for the very first time that day, Sundance left her home to stretch her body in the open field behind her house. It felt as if she had a bond with the sun. They danced in sync. Beautiful to see and feel. She was focused. 100%. Even more. She did not notice him. This gave him the freedom to go for the ultimate observation. 

Sundance made her head empty. Completely empty. A new day. A new dawn. No worries. No pain. No drama. She left it all far behind. The past was over. The present a gift. The future did not matter. She was not attached to the stories that happened alongside her path. Stories created by others. Out of boredom or because they had no motivation to reach their unique destination. Whatever crossed her life path, it could not have an impact on her. Instead, she felt free and happy. Her energy could flow abundantly. No weight to keep her down. As if she had wings to fly. 

Talking about Wings. The old man believed that he could take a picture of her wings. Wide open. Magic dust everywhere. He followed her dance moves. Went from overthinking to another stage. A stage with more peace. In his imagination he approached her. He could only do that when he adapted to her nature. He had to leave all drama scenes behind. He became lighter and lighter. A wonder. Now it seemed that the lighter he felt, the younger he became. And do not be surprised, he turned into a handsome young man.

In the moment where he became her mirror, she could see him. Clearly. The smile on her face was prove that she felt his presence. He smiled too. In their own chosen reality they saw the beauty of life. Life was full of hope and blessings. The universe agreed to give more of the same. The young man was aware of the secret to happiness. He danced with her. They felt one. He never grew old. Sundance never aged since the day they met. Worries did not touch them because it did not matter anymore. They found peace. Balance. Love. Ease. 

They say that when little girls dance at Sunrise, they spread happy vibes of the beloved couple. It brings luck. Forever. More. The young man forgot his older version. His memory deleted it. Just like that. Sundance fell in love. With him. Only. He took care of her brave heart. With a devotion that was a true blessing from above. Each time when a sad seed tried to change their vision, they turned it into a sunflower. Planted it in deep grounds. Washed away the dirt. A matter of putting everything in the right perspective. The essence. Of it all.
