The Art of Choosing Happiness over Hurt

Yes, I broke up with my love yesterday. I have chosen happiness over hurt. When I woke up, I asked myself, is this really true? And yes, a feeling of coldness reminded me of the hurtful event. It is not that I refuse the person as such because despite everything he is a magnificent person, I said no to the pattern that keeps on causing hurt. I do not know if I will ever meet again a special person as he is with so much interests in common, but I have confidence that life will create beautiful opportunities to meet more wonderful souls with a golden heart. Faith is my guide on my journey. I am ready for a new beginning, a rebirth that starts tomorrow on my birthday.

It is sad to go separate ways but I will move on. Letting go of hurtful patterns is equal to welcoming more love in my life. And it can come from everywhere. The universe is so big. I value the treasure that life offers and I want the best for myself as I do for others. It feels good to set healthy boundaries and choose peacefulness. Now I am creating space to give it all a place. It was a wild ride, with peaks and lows. Looking back for one more day, I am not regretting one single moment we shared. It was breathtaking. Beautiful. Mesmerizing. And I just want to say to my love: "Thank you for the journey, thank you for the joy and pain of yesterday". 

Always choose happiness over hurt, you deserve the best in life and love.
