    The Faculty of Sciences at the University of Antwerp is seeking an Administration Officer (50%) for the AnSyMo/CoSys Core Lab at Flanders Make .

    Position

    The role includes the following tasks:

  • Organizing activities within the AnSyMo/CoSys core lab of Flanders Make, including preparation, monitoring, and execution of administrative, logistical, and/or technical tasks: coordinating meetings between professors and business developers, monitoring internal and external deadlines, tracking steering group tasks, KPI reporting, budget monitoring, procurement and ordering tracking, etc.
  • Collecting and managing data and information: personnel list of the core lab, collaborations, and research projects in the Flanders Make CRM system, publications of the core lab, etc.
  • Providing accurate information to colleagues, clients, and stakeholders orally, in writing, or electronically: preparing cluster steering groups, core lab review meetings, coordination with core lab manager and business developer, etc.
  • When achieving objectives, adhere to provided instructions and regulations.

    • Profile

  • You hold a degree in professional bachelor of Organizational Management, Office Management, Secretarial Studies, or equivalent competencies through experience.
  • You have experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft, especially Excel.
  • Good oral and written English and Dutch skills.
  • Customer-friendly, integrity, creative, quality-oriented, and collaborative.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and independent work skills, proactive, and assertive.
  • Experience with EndNote (bibliography management), CRM, etc., is not mandatory but certainly an asset.

    • What we offer

  • We offer a fixed-term employment contract; 1 year (with the possibility of extension).
  • You can work according to a flexible working hours arrangement, in consultation with the Core Lab Manager.
  • You have 40 days of leave and a week of collective closure between Christmas and New Year.
  • You will mainly work on the Middelheim Campus in a dynamic and stimulating work environment.
