    Job Summary

    Jouw functie

    • Als Lab Supervisor sta je in voor het dagelijkse beheer en coördinatie van het Quality Control labo. Hierbij volg je de Quality Control processen in het labo en bij productie zodat onze product kwaliteit geborgd wordt, er tijdig gereageerd wordt op eventuele afwijkingen en het eindproduct tijdig naar de klant kan vertrekken.
    • Je volgt nauwgezet de correcte uitvoering van alle labo-analyses op.

    Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

    • Je staat in voor de validatie van de QC-resultaten opgeleverd door het QC-labo.
    • Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor de collega's van andere departementen indien er vragen zijn in verband met Quality Control.
    • Je biedt ondersteuning aan andere afdelingen betreffende de opmaak en controle van documenten in het management systeem.
    • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het bewaken van alle QC-processen zodat de kwaliteit van het eindproduct en van de toegepaste processen gegarandeerd is om te voldoen aan de verwachtingen en eisen van de klant.
    • Je bent een drijvende kracht voor het stimuleren van QESH & I-Cube bewustzijn bij de medewerkers.
    • Je tracht hierbij te streven naar een mindset van Continuous Improvement (5S, ...).
    • Je voorziet opleidingstrajecten voor nieuwe labomedewerkers.
    • Als Lab Supervisor zorg je voor regelmatige feedback en organiseer je de jaarlijkse evaluatiegesprekken met het labopersoneel.
    • Stimuleren en uitdragen van het veiligheids- en milieubewustzijn.
    • Streven naar Continuous Improvement.
    • Correct uitvoeren van specifieke taken opgelegd door de rechtstreeks leidinggevende.

    Profiel

    • Je hebt bij voorkeur een opleiding in een chemische richting. Bachelor, master of ander relevant diploma is welkom. Nog meer dan het diploma is het jouw kennis die voor Imerys van belang is.
    • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring als Lab Supervisor waarbij je een team van laboranten hebt aangestuurd.
    • Je hebt bijgevolg ervaring met het opleiden en inwerken van nieuwe teamleden, functioneringsgesprekken en evaluatiegesprekken. Ook het opmaken van de werkplanning behoort tot jouw verantwoordelijkheden.
    • Je hebt bij voorkeur relevante ervaring met werken in quality control in een labo-omgeving.
    • Ervaring in een (chemisch) productiebedrijf is een troef.
    • Je hebt een sterk gevoel voor verantwoordelijkheid en je neemt graag initiatieven.
    • Je geeft graag het goede voorbeeld ('lead by example').
    • Je hebt een mature uitstraling, je bent 'to the point' in jouw communicatie en houdt van efficiënt werken.
    • Je bent 'safety minded'. D.w.z. Dat je alle veiligheidsregels correct opvolgt én deze ook uitdraagt naar anderen.
    • Je streeft ernaar om steeds beter te doen. Op het vlak van kwaliteit en werkprocessen geloof je oprecht in 'Continuous Improvement'.
