DescriptionAs a CAR-T Operations Expert, you will be part of the team responsible for the development of CAR-T products for clinical and commercial applications in a controlled clean room environment (GMP).
You will lead and execute multiple units within CAR-T process operations following standard operating procedures and ensure safe and compliant operations according to GMP requirements.
You will work in a team-based and multi-functional environment to perform production tasks required on schedule to drive continuous improvement of operations by using your own observation and input from junior team members.
As a CAR-T operations expert, you must build and maintain smooth and strong collaborations with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks. You will also be the first point of contact for junior operators.
You will be responsible for writing SOPs.
CompanyOur client, based in Zwijnaarde, is a global biotechnology company bringing the innovative CAR-T cell therapy to Ghent. With this, the team makes a daily difference in the lives of many patients suffering from cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Are you the Operations Expert we are looking for?
You have Master's degree in bioengineering, biotechnology or pharmacy - or equivalent experience
Min. 3 years of operational experience within a GMP or ATMP environment in the biotech/ biopharmaceutical industry
Previous experience in manufacturing, quality or engineering is required
Strong influence and relationship building skills with an emphasis on teamwork
Strongly developed organizational skills
You are able to manage changing priorities and meet critical deadlines
You are analytically strong, problem-solving, programmatic and positively critical in your thinking
You have a flexible mindset + a CAN DO attitude
Experience with MS Office - being able to work with SAP & GMP systems is definitely a plus
You can communicate fluently in Dutch & English.
