    Broker Casualty

    Functie

    Als Broker bouw je een doorgedreven productkennis uit binnen jouw specialisatie. Je adviseert account managers en cliënten en onderhoudt goede contacten met de verzekeraars. Bij hen koop je producten in die tot jouw specialisatiedomein behoren.

    Technische – adviesverlenende dimensie van de functie

  • Je bent specialist in het verzekeringstechnisch domein Arbeidsongevallen, Persoonsgebonden verzekeringen (Extra-Legale Ongevallen) en International People Mobility en wil je hierin voortdurend verder vervolmaken.
  • Vanuit je expertise verstrek je in de aan jou toevertrouwde verzekeringsdossiers, professioneel advies en oplossingen op maat aan commerciëlen en cliënten met focus op de toegevoegde waarde van Aon als verzekeringsconsultant.
  • Je negotieert met verzekeraars en komt zo tot offertes en polissen die volledig aansluiten bij de noden en verwachtingen van je klanten zowel op het vlak van inhoudelijke voorwaarden als tarieven.
  • Je bent aanspreekpunt voor cliënten en verzekeraars bij vragen, klachten en/of problemen m.b.t. de polissen in je verzekeringsportefeuille
  • Je bezorgt je cliënten jaarlijks/punctueel feedback over het verloop van hun verzekeringsdossier, de kwaliteit van de polis, hetzij door schriftelijke rapportering hetzij door mondelinge toelichting tijdens vergaderingen. Indien hiaten in de polisdekking, formuleer je voorstellen tot polisaanpassingen.
  • Je verwerkt, interpreteert en licht gezwind statistische informatie toe betreffende de rentabiliteit van het risico door middel van een klassieke dan wel financiële analyse van schadestatistieken.
  • Je analyseert alternatieve verzekeringsformules ter vervanging van de klassieke polis of premiezetting (stop loss; variabele premievoeten; gecantoneerde fondsen, enz.)
  • Je houdt je professionele kennis permanent op peil door bijscholing of zelfstudie.
  • Je bewaakt op permanente basis de kwaliteit en accuraatheid van je adviezen dankzij je kritische ingesteldheid.
  • In de afwikkeling van complexe schadedossiers waarover de klant je advies inwint, voer je zelfstandig besprekingen met verzekeraars en streef je naar een langetermijnrelatie met zowel cliënt als verzekeraar. Je regelt de afhandeling van de schades correct, efficiënt en snel.

    • Administratieve dimensie van de functie

  • Je communiceert instructies duidelijk en volledig aan de Broker Assistant opdat deze de toevertrouwde taken probleemloos kan uitvoeren;
  • Je kijkt de polisdocumenten grondig na alvorens deze naar de klant worden opgestuurd;
  • Je berekent de voorschotpremies;
  • Je bepaalt in samenspraak met het commerciële departement de vergoeding voor je diensten.

  • Je hebt interesse om je verder te verdiepen in deze gespecialiseerde verzekeringsmaterie.
  • Je brengt technische materie begrijpelijk over bij specialisten en niet-specialisten.
  • Je kent de verzekeringsmarkt.
  • Je denkt conceptueel, hebt commerciële visie en bent creatief.
  • Je kan je goed inleven in de noden/problematiek van de cliënt, de verzekeringsmaatschappij en van je collega's.
  • Je bent sterk in onderhandelingen. Je slaagt erin om met verschillende partijen tot een akkoord te komen en hierbij hebt je ook oog voor een langetermijnrelatie.
  • Je organiseert je werkt zelfstandig verschillende deadlines indachtig, detecteert snel problemen en anticipeert hierop. Bovendien kan je prioriteiten onderscheiden, werk je proactief en probleemoplossend en zoek je inventief naar oplossingen en alternatieven in de afwikkeling van je dossiers.
  • Je bent een teamplayer
  • Je kan jezelf zowel schriftelijk als mondeling vlot uitdrukken in het Frans, Nederlands en Engels
  • Je bent vertrouwd met MS Office-toepassingen (Word, Excel, Power Point) en bereid eigen beheerssystemen aan te leren

    En tant que courtier, vous développez une connaissance approfondie des produits au sein de votre spécialisation. Vous conseillez les account managers et les clients, et entretenez de bons contacts avec les assureurs. Vous achetez auprès d'eux des produits qui appartiennent à votre domaine de spécialisation.

    Dimension technique-conseil de la fonction

  • Vous êtes spécialiste dans le domaine technique de l'assurance des accidents du travail et des personnes (Accidents extra-légaux) et de la mobilité internationale des personnes et vous souhaitez continuer à vous perfectionner dans ce domaine.
  • Sur base de votre expertise, vous fournissez pour les dossiers d'assurance qui vous sont confiés, des conseils professionnels et des solutions sur mesure aux parties commerciales et aux clients, en mettant l'accent sur la valeur ajoutée d'Aon en tant que consultant en assurance.
  • Vous négociez avec les assureurs et arrivez ainsi à des offres et des polices qui répondent pleinement aux besoins et aux attentes de vos clients, tant en termes de conditions que de tarifs.
  • Vous êtes la personne de contact des clients et des assureurs en cas de questions, de réclamations et/ou de problèmes concernant les polices de votre portefeuille d'assurance.
  • Vous fournissez à vos clients un feedback annuel/ponctuel sur l'état d'avancement de leur dossier d'assurance et sur la qualité de la police, soit par rapport écrit, soit par des explications orales lors de réunions. S'il y a des lacunes dans la couverture de la police, vous formulez des propositions de modification de la police.
  • Vous traitez, interprétez et expliquez rapidement les informations statistiques concernant la rentabilité du risque au moyen d'une analyse classique ou financière des statistiques de sinistres.
  • Vous analysez des formules d'assurance alternatives pour remplacer la police traditionnelle ou la fixation des primes (stop loss ; taux de primes variables ; fonds cantonnés, etc.).
  • Vous maintenez vos connaissances professionnelles à jour en permanence par le biais d'une formation continue ou d'un auto-apprentissage.
  • Vous contrôlez en permanence la qualité et la précision de vos conseils grâce à votre attitude critique.
  • Dans le règlement de sinistres complexes pour lesquels le client demande votre avis, vous menez de façon indépendante des discussions avec les assureurs et visez une relation à long terme tant avec le client qu'avec l'assureur. Vous arrangez le règlement des sinistres correctement, efficacement et rapidement.

    • Dimension administrative de la fonction

  • Vous communiquez des instructions claires et complètes au Broking Assistant afin qu'il puisse accomplir sans problème les tâches qui lui sont confiées ;
  • Vous vérifiez minutieusement les documents de police avant de les envoyer au client ;
  • Vous calculez les primes anticipées ;
  • Vous déterminez la rémunération de vos services en concertation avec le service commercial.

    • Quelles sont vos compétences ?

  • Vous souhaitez approfondir vos connaissances en matière de cette assurance spécialisée.
  • Vous transmettez les questions techniques de manière compréhensible aux spécialistes et aux non-spécialistes.
  • Vous connaissez le marché de l'assurance.
  • Vous pensez conceptuellement, avez une vision commerciale et êtes créatif.
  • Vous pouvez bien comprendre les besoins/problèmes du client, de la compagnie d'assurance et de vos collègues.
  • Vous êtes fort dans les négociations, vous réussissez à conclure une entente avec diverses parties et vous avez aussi l'œil pour une relation à long terme.
  • Vous organisez votre travail de manière autonome, en tenant compte des différents délais, détectez rapidement les problèmes et les anticipez. De plus, vous pouvez distinguer les priorités, travailler de façon proactive et résoudre les problèmes et rechercher de façon inventive des solutions et des alternatives dans le traitement de vos dossiers.
  • Vous êtes un teamplayer.
  • Vous pouvez vous exprimer couramment en français, néerlandais et anglais, tant oralement que par écrit.
  • Vous êtes familier avec les applications MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) et souhaitez apprendre nos propres systèmes de gestion.
