    This is a remote position, however, the candidate must reside within 30 miles of one of the following locations: Portland ME, Boston MA, Washington DC, Dallas TX and San Jose CA.

    About the Team:

    This is a really exciting time to be working in Data & Analytics at WEX. We are driving towards our True North vision of providing the right data, in the right place, at the right time so that we can enable and accelerate the journey to being a data-driven organization. There is strong executive support for all things data and it is viewed as a critical component for our enterprise transformation activities. What we need now is someone with a passion for solving problems and driving actionable outcomes with data.

    In this role you will be responsible for bringing data and analytics products and capabilities to bear at WEX. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and capability gaps then translate those needs into technical user stories for the engineering teams.

    What You'll Do:

  • Deliver best in class experiences and enabling capabilities that delight customers and win in the market
  • Deeply understand the customer needs to define the priorities and inspire the broader team
  • Build the product roadmap, define use cases and drive tradeoff decisions
  • Identify new products and features on the customer's behalf
  • Lead 1-2 scrum teams to align on mission and deliver great results iteratively
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to measure results, inform your roadmap and achieve adoption and financial results
  • Cross collaborate with Product / Analytics / Engineering / Business Leaders to drive scalable data solutions
  • Engage in technical discussions with engineers to define product strategy, create value, and impact the direction of products and the business
  • Be a trusted partner that can present effectively to high-level stakeholders, set clear priorities and direction, and build bridges across groups
  • Own the product end-to end by developing business models, defining and analyzing success metrics, and managing strategic projects

  • Bring a deep understanding of the market, applied technologies and domain expertise, with a curiosity and learning mindset

    • What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a modern, data driven environment or 5+ years of combined Data Engineering, Analytics, Product Management experience
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or related fields, advanced degree is a plus
  • Understand how features (micro) interface with overall product vision (macro)
  • Have a learning mindset to start developing hypothesis that are tested and iterated
  • Experience in building self-service products from scratch. Specific experience building products for internal analytical, and ML use cases is a plus
  • Strong ability to think through unifying elements and common denominators; build solutions that work across multiple lines of business
  • Hand on experience with big data frameworks and modern data technologies (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Tableau, SQL)
  • Data driven approach for everything you do, understanding your customers, roadmap prioritization and measuring success
  • Ability to work in an agile fashion with your teams; go broad to go narrow; build, test, iterate
  • Ability to nurture various initiatives in parallel, in different stages of maturity and velocity
    • The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
